General Requirements/Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine pest control services for residential and commercial accounts
  • Inspect properties for pest activity, entry points, and conducive conditions
  • Apply pesticides and treatment materials according to label instructions and company standards
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and treatment recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records and treatment documentation
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns professionally
  • Follow all state and federal safety regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • No pest control experience required – we do all training in-house
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily schedule efficiently
  • Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, crawlspaces, attics, and varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Basic smartphone or tablet skills for service documentation

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday with occasional overtime or seasonal schedule adjustments

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our growing family-owned pest control company. This role is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the business, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with bookkeeping and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, comfortable working independently, and experienced with QuickBooks.

General Requirements/Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
  • Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable using our CRM software
  • Process customer payments and vendor invoices
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
  • Maintain organized financial and customer records
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
  • Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and team members
  • Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed
  • Help ensure compliance with company procedures and financial policies

Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
